Leanne Praw

Senior Director of Finance & Contracting

Leanne is the Senior Director of Finance and Contracting at MedQIA, and in this capacity she is focused on providing financial strategy for the growth and oversight of the company as well as developing business relationships. With over twenty-five years of experience in financial services, Leanne leads and oversees all day to day financial operations including accounting, human resources, and financial planning and analysis. Additionally she leads the Client Services department, developing proposals and negotiating contracts.

Leanne has worked with MedQIA since 2007 and in 2014 she was appointed the Financial Controller. Prior to joining MedQIA she was the owner of a successful business providing both personal and business financial management services.

Leanne holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1991 from California State University, Fullerton and has worked in financial services with an emphasis on the medical industry.

Bharath Ramakrishna

Director of Engineering/Product

Bharath heads the development and marketing of MedQIA’s software products and services. He brings more than a decade of experience in R&D, engineering, data science, product marketing and management.

Bharath is passionate about productizing AI at scale to solve hard problems in medtech space, developing business strategy and building high-performance collaborative teams.

Bharath holds a BS in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University in Bangalore (India), MS, PhD in Computer Engineering from University of Maryland and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Megan McRoberts

Director Of Clinical Operations

Megan McRoberts has a degree in Social and Behavioral Science and a certificate with honors, in Clinical Trial Conduct and Management, through UC Berkeley. Megan has worked in the Medical Industry for over 12 years and specializes in all aspects of Clinical Trial Management. Megan’s combined passion for science and love of people drive her to provide outstanding customer service and care for our internal team as well as our clients.

Laura Guzman

Senior Director of Quality & Compliance

Laura has been involved in QA activities with MedQIA since 2009; and is currently the Senior Director of Quality and Compliance,  providing oversight on all quality and compliance aspects at MedQIA. After completing her bachelor’s degree in Biology in Colombia, she moved to Chicago and worked as a research technologist with an immunology group. In addition to holding a master’s degree from Northwestern University, she has an MS in Regulatory Science from the University of Southern California. Laura has expertise in QMS development and establishment of manuals and procedures for QA activities, GCP and ethical principles in clinical research, privacy protection principles, eQMS and imaging software validation, and compliance auditing for GCP and validation of computer systems.
