Airway Morphometry

MedQIA’s airway segmentation and analysis techniques on HRCT are based on gradient and range imaging for lumen measurement and a “band-expansion”approach to wall thickness measurement (Ochs 2008). Measurements are made perpendicular to the airway center line. Airway measurements and visualization tools are presented in a bronchoscopic treatment planning report.
